Johnson's Folly Horse Farm, established in 1991 as a three-acre hobby farm in the heart of Delray Beach, has evolved into a renowned equestrian facility. Over the years, the farm expanded to eight acres, and with the acquisition of an additional five acres, it has grown into a premier horse riding school, reflecting years of care, dedication, and thoughtful renovation.

As for the unusual name, Nongae laughs as she recounts her father’s long-held but unrealized ambition to write a book called “Johnson’s Folly Horse Farm.” A folly is some ridiculous expenditure, Nongae explained. And doesn’t that perfectly describe owning a farm with a horseback riding school? Originally shared by Nongae Johnson in an interview with the Town-Crier in December 2016, this story reflects the deep roots, character, and vision behind the farm.
